   Monument Formations is a large, detailed drawing on paper. The macro narrative of this work is sourced from the Indian mythological story of the Shakti Peeth. There are also references from colonial history, western philosophy, architecture, scientific diagrams, Borges etc. This results in the formation of a very surreal, layered narrative which is an exploration of the relationship between land and body; in the manner of old encyclopaedia illustrations.
